Phoenix From The Ashes. But what sort of Phoenix?

news

Royal Mail own the huge site that includes the Mount Pleasant Sorting Office and the 'posties' car park. Bisceted by the borogh border on Phoenix Place, half of the site, the car park, is in Camden, and the sorting office is in Islington.  Whatever happens it's going to be a major development. Have your say about the future of the Royal Mail Mount Pleasant Site.

Camden and Islington Councils are consulting on a draft Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) for the Royal Mail Mount Pleasant site.  The purpose of the draft SPD is to provide planning guidance for future development and the views of local people are important in shaping the document.

The six-week consultation will run from 24th October 2011 – 4th December 2011.
