A new scheme has been launched for residents and businesses of Kings Mews, North Mews, Brownlow Mews and Roger Street.
The Safer Neighbourhood team at Holborn Police Station set up the Neighbourhood Watch Scheme in this area
after being approached by a local business following a recent
burglary. They also were also getting reports about the behaviour of street drinkers.
The scheme acts as early-warning information exchange for both the members & police, and allows early action to be taken to protect from and prevent crime. It also covers anti-social behaviour.
To join, or ask for more information, please email: mandy.nutt@met.police.uk
She'll send you a consent form to sign giving permission for your name and email address to be passed to the local Watch Co-ordinators. You'll also be given the scheme reference number - some insurers use this to give a discount on home contents insurance for members of a Neighbourhood Watch Scheme.
