Mayor of Camden's Chosen Charity

news

Camden's Mayor for 2011/12 is Cllr Abdul Quadir.  His mayoral theme is about rasing awareness of deafness, hearing loss and tinnitus.

As Mayor, he wants to encourage greater awareness, to make Camden a place where everyone values and takes steps to protect their hearing.  He also wants to promote Camden as an accessible and welcoming borough for the deaf community and people who are hard of hearing.

The Mayor's chosen charity is Action on Hearing Loss - the new name for RNID. They have a very simple and quick test that you can take online to check your own hearing. Click this link
