Free emergency alerts to residents and businesses

news

You can now sign up to free emergency alerts, which will provide information in the event of a major incident.

The scheme, run in a partnership between Camden and the police, enables users to sign-up for alerts via text message or email.

The messages will give information about what has happened and any actions people should take, such as avoiding certain areas.

Users can select which wards they want to receive information about, and the alerts can be used if there is an incident in a neighbouring borough which affects Camden. You can sign up to the alerts by registering at www.camden.gov.uk/emergencyalerts.
