THEY WANT YOUR FEEDBACK TO THEIR TRAFFIC PLANS
The London 2012 Games will attract large numbers of visitors to venues and their surrounding areas, which means some temporary traffic and parking restrictions will be needed.
To avoid congestion and safety and security issues during the Games, London 2012 is developing plans with the police, local authorities and others to provide a safe environment around venues and keep traffic moving so that local residents and businesses can carry on with their day-to-day activities.

The London 2012 Organising Committee is testing crucial aspects of its operations ahead of the Games and working on planning operations at important sites like Russell Square and the surrounding area.
During the Olympic Games, representatives from several media organisations will be staying in hotels and student housing in Bloomsbury, and the Media Transport Hub will be the pick-up and drop-off point to transport them to and from Olympic venues.
The changes to access, traffic management and parking needed to operate the Media Transport Hub will coincide with other road changes needed to ensure that athletes, media and others working at the Games can travel to events reliably. Details of these other changes are on the Transport for London website: www.tfl.gov.uk/ORN.
