Islington Pride – 50 Years of LGBT History with Karen

Wednesday 9th August at 2pm

This walk commemorates the 50th anniversaries of the death of Joe Orton on 9th August and the 1967 Sexual Offences Act which came into force on 27th July.

Orton's local pub, the gathering point for the UK's first gay rally and the former home of a member of the extraordinary Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence are just a few of the venues featured on this fascinating walk.
