noon to 10.00pm both days
London's largest free outdoor arts festival
The Thames Festival returns this September with its exciting mix of arts, spectacle and entertainment, all focused around the River Thames.
Come and see a mixture of street arts, performance, carnival, pyrotechnics, illuminations, art installations, exhibitions, river events, massed choirs, circus, dance, food and feasting.
There'll also be music performances on the Festival Freedom Stage featuring the likes of Ska Cubano, Ty, Sweet Billy Pilgrim, Kitty Daisy & Lewis and last year's Mercury Prizewinner Speech Debelle.
Don't miss the finale - a magical illuminated Night Carnival featuring a procession that winds along the north and south banks of the Thames, followed by a fantastic fireworks display fired from the centre of the river itself.
The festival runs from 11-12 September, noon-10pm both days.
