This year, the Mayor's Thames Festival will be bringing you 10 whole days of action-packed river-related entertainment.

From this Friday 6 September to Sunday 15 September, London's famous river will come to life with a season of bespoke events. The Festival celebrates the Thames with creative commissions, fabulous river events and a range of exciting activities. From river cruises and relays, to river walks and talks, get inspired and enjoy London's iconic river!

Highlights include:

'1513: A Ships' Opera' - a spectacular water-borne performance by an armada of historic vessels

The Deluxe River Cruise' by Doug Fishbone - darkly surreal river cruises with a difference. You'll never see  the Thames in the same light again

Thames Walks - discover Brixton's rural past, see why the Oval is oval and find out about prisons, slums and wells, dissident monks and madmen
