In this talk, psychologist Ben Graham explores the motives behind the misrepresentations of brain injury and discusses at the work of his employer Headway East London which provides support for survivors.

Port talk on the first decade of the Max Stern Art Restitution Project

Dr. Max Stern (1904-1987) was a German Jew who was forced to dissolve his Düsseldorf art gallery business during the Nazi period. Following World War II, he permanently settled in Canada where he became one of the country's most important art dealers and collectors. Acting on behalf of his estate beneficiaries — Concordia University and McGill University in Montreal and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem — a worldwide effort led by Concordia is under way to recover hundreds of paintings lost to Dr. Stern including a significant number of Dutch Old Masters. Since 2007, Ben Uri Gallery (The London Jewish Museum of Art) has been touring internationally the exhibition: Auktion 392: Reclaiming the Galerie Stern Düsseldorf
