1.30pm The Enigma of Charles James Fox
A brief talk by Robert Shepherd, author of The Book of Squares: Civil War in Bloomsbury, about the man that lies behind this bronze statue of a pensive, and seated man, in a toga, up on his plinth, looking out of Bloomsbury Square. Was he a degenerate, a prolific womanizer, and an inveterate drinker and gambler, and, when young, the most spoilt child in England, or was he a fine orator, the Intrepid Champion of the People, or all of the above?

2.15pm - Yuri Kono
Yuri Kono is a Japanese born composer, singer and pianist currently based in London. Inspired by the works of Joe Hisaishi, Maria Kawamura, Yoko Kanno and western artists such as Meredith Monk, Bjork and Kate Bush. She combines the tones of western experimental music with Japanese animation music into a style that is both virtuosic and accessible.
