A charity fund-raising event.
The charity CLEFT will take over the Rugby Tavern, Rugby Street, for an Evening with Roger McGough and Juliet Stevenson. Food and a glass of wine will be provided, and the bar of the Rugby Tavern will be open.
Roger McGough has been described by Caron-Anne Duffy as the "patron sait of poetry" Juliet Stevenson is a renowned stage actress with a long list of staring roles. She has also starred in films as diverse as 'Truly, Madly, Deeply' and 'Bend it like Beckham'.
All profits from the evening will go to CLEFT, which funds research into the causes and treatment of cleft lips and palate and supports teams treating children born with cleft lip and palate in poorer parts of the world.
Tickets are £25 per person. Places for the evening are limited.
