Special Event: Book Signing

1-3pm

Pat Hutchins is the writer and illustrator of 1970s children's classics 'Rosie's Walk', 'Don't Forget the Bacon' and 'Titch'.

Her first book Rosie's Walk was a 1968 ALA Notable Book. She has written five novels and twenty-five picture books. She received the Kate Greenaway Medal in 1974 for The Wind Blew. She played the role of an artistic narrowboat owner in the British children's television series, Rosie and Jim.

Her books have been published to great acclaim in both Britain and the US and are still going strong after more than 40 years in print.

Her work has retained a charming, retro appeal that is instantly recognisable to many. Pat does very few signings now so this is a rare opportunity to meet the author of your childhood favourites.
