Open House London 2012

events

Saturday, 22 September 2012 - Sunday, 23 September 2012
Open House London celebrates all that is best about the capital's buildings, places and neighbourhoods. Every September is your unique opportunity to get out and under the skin of London's amazing architecture, with over 700 buildings of all kinds opening their doors to everyone – all for free.

Good design plays a crucial role in creating a vibrant and 'liveable' city – a place with pleasant environments where people want to live and work. Open House London is the annual opportunity to discover this at first hand, all over London, and to find out more about issues that are relevant to your local area – from the design of homes, the impact of climate change, good infrastructure and the role of designers in revitalising places and landscapes.

Open House is unique in that you see, hear and talk about great architecture and design at first hand. Whether it's a renewed look at your own neighbourhood or exploration of a new area, our open buildings and expert-led tours will affect how you feel about your city and the way we live.
