Have more than a peek, take a walk in some usually private gardens during Open Garden Squares weekend. Participating gardens range from the historic and traditional to the new and experimental and can be discovered across 25 London boroughs.
One ticket allows you to visit numerous gardens over the weekend.
In our area you can visit the usually private Mecklenburgh Square garden which has the largest collection of New Zealand plants outside New Zealand, The School of Oriental and African Studies has a small modern Japanese-style roof garden, Bedford Square is the best and most complete Georgian square in London, or visit the BMA elegant town garden designed Sir Edwin Lutyens at the heart of the BMA headquarters at Tavistock Square.
Many gardens have guided tours and other activities.
