Long before 3D cinema and HDTV the stereopticon card was the height of entertainment technology, giving viewers the experience of seeing a picture 'come alive'. Celebrate the exhibition 'Lost Museums' with a special family-friendly tour followed by a chance to make a simple stereo-viewer out of a box complete with a view of the Hunterian Museum from 1852.
Sessions last approximately 1 hour. Ages 7-11, all children must be accompanied.
Free workshop – please bring your own shoe-box, all other materials provided.
