HV has been contacted by local law firm Seth Lovis & Co; they're in John Street. During November, they are taking part in Will Aid.  This is the UK's top charity Will-writing scheme.'

Instead of charging  usual fees for a basic Will during the month of November, the firm will invite will-makers to make a voluntary donation to the Will Aid charities.  The suggested donation is £95 for a single basic Will, £150 for a pair of mirror Wills.'' Will Aid clients will also be able to register their Wills free with Certainty, the National Will Register. This means that a Will can be quickly and easily located when it is needed.

The money raised from donations is shared by nine well-known UK charities: ActionAid, Age UK, British Red Cross, Christian Aid, NSPCC, Save the Children, Sightsavers, SCIAF (Scotland) and Trocaire (Northern Ireland). Last year Seth Lovis raised over £5,000. To date, the firm's solicitors have raised over £65,000 for Will Aid.
