While virtually all attractions are closed over the Christmas period, the Charles Dickens Museum remains open to visitors to celebrate Christmas in Dickens's former home.
Step back in time on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day when visitors to the Charles Dickens Museum will be able to see how the author and his family would have celebrated Christmas. The museum will be decorated with festive greenery and authentic Victorian decorations and we will offer lively readings from Dickens's Christmas stories as well as screenings of classic movie adaptations of A Christmas Carol.
