Get behind the scenes of the surgical world and try your hand at some surgical skills. Visit a pop-up operating theatre to see surgery 'in action', see how steady your hands are on minimal access surgical trainers and take part in suturing classes. Discover the historical collections of surgical instruments in a late view of the museum and see the anatomical specimens that have educated generations of surgeons and anatomists past.
Entry to the museum view and suturing session is free and does not require booking.
£5 charge applies to pop-up surgery and minimal access workshops, limited numbers so booking is essential on 020 7869 6560.
Free entry plus one guest to fellows and members, free to affiliates, medical students and Hunterian Society members (please call to reserve places).
