Learn from professional filmmakers all about the filmmaking process, whilst creating your own cinematic-quality short film. If you are aged 13 to 18-years old, join 1A Arts for this amazing short course.
Pre-production sessions will take place at the Foundling Museum and 1A Arts, and the you will write a script inspired by the collection of the Foundling Museum and the stories it contains. Filming will take place at the Foundling Museum and the local area. You will be able to experience all the key roles required on a professional film shoot.
Participants will also be given the opportunity to gain their Bronze Arts Award during the project. This is a national qualification which encourages creativity, teamwork and leadership skills.
The course starts Saturday 30th May from 10.30am-1.30pm at 1A Arts. It will then run every Saturday morning from 10.30am-1.30pm (pre-production workshops) and continue into the school summer holidays. Week 1 of the summer holidays will be the intensive film shoot and weeks 2 & 3 will be the editing and post-production period.
