At nearly 100 years old Bedford House has been showing it age for quite a while. It's in need of some major refurbisment, or rather a brand new building for the next century of excellent arts and sports services to the young and old.
The planned redevelopment will not only enable Bedford House to expand to meet the growing needs of our community, but is critical to ensuring the future sustainability of HCA’s services, by providing a state-of-the art, fully accessible and more financially self-sufficient enterprise. The new building is designed by award winning arts practice, 6a architects, with a ceramic tile façade by London-based artist Caragh Thuring.
With £2.6 million already pledged they now need to raise the remaining £1.4 million. Please attend the funraising concert to support this worthwile assest for our community.
The first half will feature the West Malling Community Choir, conducted by Kathryn Ridgeway, who will be performing The Rhythm of Life, arranged by Richard Barnes. The second half will feature Etcetera Civil Service Choir, conducted by Stephen Hall, whose programme will include Lauridsen's Lux Aeterna.
